Singing, coaching and quilting are a few of Kelly Clarkson’s favorite things. The original American Idol winner surprised her fellow coaches on The Voice with handmade quilts as gifts, and Blake Shelton showed his denim-inspired blanket off on Twitter. “NEVER has a voice coach hand made me a gift!!! Thank you Kelly Clarkson!!!” he wrote. According to Kelly, Adam Levine’s quilt was inspired by rock and roll, while Alicia Keys’ was based on family and purple hues. “Yaaaassss! #quiltingismyjam ….but don’t look 2 closely because it sort of looks like a high school home economics project #madewithlovenotperfection.” Kelly wrote in response to Blake’s post. The “I Don’t Think About You” singer made her first quilt in 2017 and even celebrated her recent birthday with a quilting-theme cake. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.
