The Nashville Predators’ dream of a Stanley Cup win may be over for 2018, but Carrie Underwood is still standing with Music City’s team.
The country superstar and wife of Predators player Mike Fisher shared parting words for “Smashville” after the team’s 5-1 defeat Thursday (May 10) in Game 7 against the Winnipeg Jets.
“Welp, to me & our 3 year-old, @mikefisher1212 is the greatest hockey player alive & the @PredsNHL are now & forever the greatest hockey team in NHL history,” she tweeted in the first of a series of posts after the game. “Not the ending we wanted, but we’re alive & well & I get my hubby back, so I say God is good!”
