The Spice Girls Are Attending the Royal Wedding

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Royal Wedding is about to get a whole lot spicier ... because the Spice Girls will be attending the nuptials! Us Weekly confirms that the girls, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisolm, and Gerri Halliwell, will be going to the Royal Wedding on Saturday, May 19th. This gives a whole new meaning to "spicing up your marriage."

Rumors that the girls would be going to the wedding began when Mel B appeared on The Real and said she was attending. She followed up with, "I’m not sure if I should have said that!" And when asked if she received an official invitation, she responded, "Us five Spice Girls. Why am I so honest?"

While the Spice Girls may be attending the big wedding, it doesn't look like they're performing. TMZ reports that there are "no current plans" to perform to celebrate Harry and Meghan tying the knot ... at least not yet, anyway. Though, that WOULD be an epic reunion (finally).

There have also been rumors that Elton John, Ed Sheeran, and/or Sam Smith could also be performing at some point during the festivities, although nothing has been confirmed.

And, even though the Royal Wedding is still a week away, it looks like some of the girls have already started hanging out. Both Emma and Geri shared photos on their Instagram accounts during a hangout sesh with Mel B, and having fun with some cute Snapchat filters. FOMO.

What else does the Royal Wedding weekend have in store? Here's what we know so far: The wedding will take place on May 19th at St. George's Chapel, which is located on the grounds of Windsor Castle (west of central London), and Prince Harry and Meghan will exchange vows at Noon (or 7am ET/4am PT). 

Harry's older brother, Prince William, is taking on the role of Best Man, and the royal brothers' aunt, Lady Jane Fellowes (the late Princess Diana's older sister) will be doing a reading during the ceremony.

And aside from members of the Royal Family who are attending the wedding, like Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Prince Charles and others, Meghan's parents will also attend an play a role. Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, will accompany her daughter on the car ride to Windsor Castle, while the actress's father, Thomas Markle Sr., will be walking her down the aisle. And actress, and close friend of Meghan's, Priyanka Chopra, has also confirmed she will be attending the wedding, but will not be in the wedding.

Other guest list details and details about Meghan's wedding gown are scarce, but the good news is we'll only have to wait one more week to find out!
