Master P Sets Sights On Raptors Head Coaching Job

The Raptors are looking for a new coach after firing Dwayne Casey. And Master P says he wants the job.

The rapper/music mogul told TMZ he thinks he's the "perfect coach" for the Raptors because "I understand the team, I understand the players."  He says Toronto should have gone farther in the playoffs with two All-Stars on the team.

Master P flirted with pro ball in the 1990's, trying out for the Raptors and Hornets.  He also has worked as a sports agent, negotiating an infamously bad contract for NFL RB Ricky Williams in 2000.

The Raptors are reportedly looking at former Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer for the job.
