pig in a police car

An Ohio man was walking home from an Amtrak station just before 5:30 in the morning when a pig started following him. The pig began nudging the man's leg in an attempt to get him to pet it.

The man was not sure what to do, so he called 911. When the North Ridgeville Police Department received his call, they assumed that he was drunk and that he was making up the story about the friendly pig.

It turned out that the man was "very sober" and was indeed being followed by a pig. The police had a bit of fun and shared the story in a hilarious post on Facebook

At 5:26 this morning we received a call from a male who stated that he was walking home on Center Ridge from the Train Station in Elyria. He went on to state that he was being followed by a pig and didn’t know what to do. A pig. Riiiight.

Night shift responded to the obviously drunk guy walking home from the bar at 5:26 in the morning. He was at least drunk enough to call the police on himself while hallucinating.

When the police arrived they said "they found a very sober male" walking home from the Amtrak train and confirmed that "he was being followed by a pig."

The responding officer "managed to wrangle" the pig into his cruiser and drive it back to the station, where it was "secured in our pig pens.....er, dog kennels."

The police department finished off the post pointing out "irony of the pig in a police car."

Also, we will mention the irony of the pig in a police car now so that anyone that thinks they’re funny is actually unoriginal and trying too hard

The post was updated a few hours later stating that the 50-pound pig named Zoey was reunited with its owner.
