The long arm of the law has no time for your YouTube prank shenanigans.

According to an arrest affidavit, a 22-year-old Arizona man named Dillion Burch was arrested on Monday after he allegedly told several guests at a Disney resort in Florida that an active shooter was on the loose so he could record their reactions and post them to YouTube.

Officers say Burch was "highly intoxicated" when he began running up to guests at Disney's Contemporary Resort and telling them that they needed to evacuate because of an active shooter shortly after midnight according to arrest records.

Burch then told the guests he was joking and wanted to film their reactions for a school project.

The resort went on lockdown after Burch's prank caused a "significant disturbance," the affidavit said.

Tensions over active shooters are high following several recent school shootings at Texas and Florida high schools that left several people dead.

Eventually, officers found Burch hiding in some bushes and arrested him on charges of disturbing the peace and disorderly intoxication. Jail records show that he has since been released on bond.
