Off-Duty FBI Officer Accidentally Shoots Man At Bar While Dancing

It's a story of when getting down goes wrong. 

A man in a bar was accidentally shot by an off-duty FBI agent early Saturday morning after a gun fell out of his pants and onto the dance floor, authorities said. 

Video posted to Twitter showed the unidentified G-man dancing at Mile High Spirits in Denver, Colorado around 12:45 a.m. Saturday when after pulling off a backflip, his gun went flying out of his pants. When the agent went to went to retrieve the weapon, it went off, striking another person in the bar in the leg.

Denver police say the victim, an adult male, was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The FBI agent, who was not identified, was taken to the Denver police station for questioning. He was later released to a FBI supervisor. 

The incident is being investigated by the Denver Police Department's homicide unit according to Buzzfeed news. There's no word on whether any charges will be filed by the Denver District Attorney's Officer over the incident.
