David and Victoria Beckham have no time for the Internet whispers that the longtime couple is set for divorce, as per a statement from the pair's spokeswoman.
On Friday (June 8), the rep for the pair spoke out on the murmurs via Evening Standard, saying, "There is no statement due or divorce. This is just fake social media news. This is all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time." Beckham's rep's response to the fuss comes after buzz that David allegedly got one of his children's teachers pregnant. That sort of news lit up Twitter and prompted Irish-based company Paddy Power, which offers telephone betting services, to put the Beckham's marriage up for bets. Paddy Power has since removed their listing.
Meanwhile, Victoria hit back at the rumors with a sly Instagram post of her and her six-year-old daughter Harper. "Morning cuddles x So much love. We love and miss u @davidbeckham," she captioned the shot, which has gone on to receive over 700,000 likes.
In related news, the Beckhams, who first met in 1997 and married just two years later, appear to be focusing on giving back as the power couple is donating their royal wedding outfits to raise money for the victims of the Manchester bombing that took place at Ariana Grande's concert in May 2017. Donations from the Omaze auction will go to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.
