Jim Carrey's Character on New Showtime Series is Based in Cbus!

Take a peek at the trailer for his newest SHOWTIME show, “Kidding,” where his character is from our very own Columbus, Ohio (minute 1:38 in trailer). Kidding tells the story of Jeff, a children’s television personality reminiscent of Mr. Rogers, both on and off screen. The trailer begins with Carrey hosting his program, empathetically reassuring children and puppets alike that “the stuff I like about you isn’t on the outside.” However, it seems that Jeff’s personal life begins to devolve as conflict arises between members of his family.

Kidding premieres on Showtime on Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
