Jeff Holland, undrafted free agent signing outside linebacker, joined Crockett & Stout on Friday. We talked with Holland about his decision to forgo his senior season at Auburn and become eligible for the NFL Draft. We talked with Holland about what draft weekend was like having not been drafted, and what went into the decision to join the Broncos. We then talked with Holland about the Broncos track record of having standout undrafted free agent signings and whether he was better off not being drafted and then getting the opportunity with the Broncos. We talked more about the fit of Holland on the Broncos, and the chip on his shoulder of not being drafted. We also discussed what minicamp was like for Holland, and what his relationship is like with Von Miller and how he’s been for him. We also discussed whether he was more starstruck to initially meet Von Miller or DeMarcus Ware, and he mentioned it was Ware. We also touched on the injury of Shane Ray and how that could open up the opportunity for Holland to make this team. We also talked with Holland about the altitude here in Denver and what his plans are for the six weeks leading up to training camp.
