Tommy Lee's Son Calls for Social Media Truce in Feud

A day after posting footage from right after he KO'ed his father in March, Brandon Lee asked his dad, Tommy Lee, to "keep this private."
The show of contrition came after Tommy's rebuttal to Brandon's nasty Father's Day post, which mocked the former Mötley Crüe drummer.
Tommy seemed content enough to get dragged into the mud in the family feud, writing via Twitter, "Rehab for son: $130,000. Party for son's 21st birthday last year: $40,000. Medical bills after son knocks his father unconscious and uses 'alcoholism' as scapegoat: $10,000. Son acting like a victim on social media on father's day: Priceless."

I’m out 🎤 drop!
Brandon responded by deleting the post of his knocked out dad and replacing it with a note.
"You post something for the world to see, saying that I'm a bad kid and my mom is a bad mother, what do you expect?" Brandon wrote.
He continued later on, "But please stop posting all of this on social media, it's making us all act like kids. Let's just drop it dude...It's time to move on. Let's keep this private."
If Brandon seems like he's talking out of both sides of his mouth, he is. But it was apparently Tommy's Twitter fingers that started this back in March. Tommy responded via Twitter to his ex-wife, Brandon's mother Pamela Anderson, recalling her experience with domestic violence while she was married to Tommy.
Brandon objected to Tommy's comments, and that's when he confronted his father in his room and eventually punched him out.
Brandon never disputed that he hit his father in the incident, but he claimed he did so in self-defense. Brandon said he entered his dad's room that night to confront him about his alcohol abuse and about negative comments he made about Anderson via Twitter days earlier.
The younger Lee said his father was drunk at the time, and he lunged at Brandon when the 21-year-old knocked him out.
Tommy was taken to the hospital for evaluation. L.A. County police responded to his house, but a judge later dropped the case after Tommy refused to cooperate with prosecutors in a case against his son.
Tommy said at the time he feared how a criminal record would hamper his son's ability to get a job and make a steady living.
