FDNY Firefighter Dies From WTC-Related Cancer

An FDNY fire chief who was at the site of the 9-11 terrorist attacks is dead from World Trade Center-related cancer. FDNY announced Saturday that Chief Ronald Spadafora died at the age of 63. His career with the FDNY spanned 40-years. Spadafora supervised the rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center Site, and was Chief of Logistics for the preparation for Hurricane Sandy.
