Masked Men Burn Child With Hot Water During Home Invasion

Texas police are looking for three masked men who broke in a family's home early Monday morning demanding money and valuables. The men spent over 30 minutes in the house terrorizing the family while ransacking their home. At one point they used boiling water to burn the couple's seven-year-old son in an attempt to coerce his parents to reveal where their money was hidden.

Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls said that he found the intruders' actions "very, very disturbing."

"To see what took place in that house and to be used as a device to try to extract information from the father is very, very disturbing."

The men managed to steal jewelry, cell phones, the family's car keys and an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing in their own vehicle. Police said they are reviewing surveillance camera footage in an effort to track down the three men. 

The young boy was taken to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery from his injuries.
