Much like we expected, Drake is indeed the father to a son with a former French adult-film star, Sophie Brussaux, as per "Emotionless," a cut on his new two-part album, Scorpion, which dropped on Friday (June 29)

On the track, which samples Mariah Carey classic, "Emotions," Drizzy comes forward to make the confession, declaring, "I wasn't hidin' my kid from the world/ I was hidin' the world from my kid/ From empty souls who just wake up and looked to debate/ Until you starin' at your seed, you can never relate," he spits. His confirmation arrives after Pusha-T alleged that the rapper was hiding his son from the world on his diss track, "The Son of Addison."

Later on "March 14th," the final song on the set, the Young Money MC confirms his son was born on October 11 and reveals he celebrated in Miami when the DNA test confirmed he was the little boy's father. "Realize I got to think for two now, I gotta make it, I better make it/ I promise if I'm not dead then I'm dedicated/ This the first positive DNA we ever celebrated/ I can't forget the looks on they faces/ Got the news in Miami that we all now got ones that we raisin," he raps over the J. Valle & T-Minus-produced cut.

Elsewhere on the highly anticipated album, JAY-Z, Nicki Minaj, Future and Ty Dolla $ign lend their voices for contributions. Scorpion also features a previously unreleased vocal track by Michael Jackson, which leads the hook to the song "Don't Matter to Me." The album was produced by Noah "40" Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib and features additional credits foor No I.D., PARTYNEXTDOOR, Boi-1da, Stefflon Don, Murda Beatz, James Fauntleroy and nineteen85, among many others.

Drake poked fun at his public rep in the Editor's Note to the album on iTunes, writing, "HATE WHEN DRAKE RAPS, DRAKE SINGS TOO MUCH, DRAKE IS A POP ARTIST, DRAKE DOESN’T EVEN WRITE HIS OWN SONGS, DRAKE TOOK AN L, DRAKE DIDN’T START FROM THE BOTTOM, DRAKE IS FINISHED, I LIKE DRAKE'S OLDER STUFF, DRAKE MAKES MUSIC FOR GIRLS, DRAKE THINKS HE'S JAMAICAN, DRAKE IS AN ACTOR, DRAKE CHANGED. ANYBODY ELSE > DRAKE …YEAH YEAH WE KNOW."
