A French man serving a 25-year prison sentence for murder has broken out of jail for the second time. Redoine Faid was in the visitor's room at Reau Prison, which is located in a suburb of Paris when a three-man commando team landed in the courtyard and extracted him in a helicopter. Police said that nobody was injured or taken hostage during the brazen prison break, which lasted only ten minutes.

Authorities found the helicopter burned about 40 miles from the prison. They believe the Faid and his accomplices fled in a car. There is a massive manhunt underway looking for the notorious criminal.

Faid was the leader of a violent criminal gang in the 1990's until he was arrested in 1998. He served ten years behind bars, but quickly found himself involved in criminal activities again. He was convicted of murder and sentenced to 25-years in prison after he organized an armed robbery that resulted in the death of a police officer in 2010.

In 2013, he managed to escape prison by concealing a bomb inside a pack of tissues. Police tracked him down six weeks later hiding out in a hotel.
