Ariana Grande tributed her fiancé Pete Davidson's late father, Scott Davidson, who was killed on 9/11, by getting a small but meaningful tattoo in his honor.
Grande was recently spotted out and about with a new foot tattoo with the numbers, 8418, which happens to be the badge digits worn by the late New York City firefighter, who died during the 2001 terrorist attack on the Twin Towers. Davidson also has the same tribute to his father on his inner arm. This marks the latest tattoo for the new couple after the SNL star inked two pieces on his body: a black bunny ear mask inspired by her Dangerous Woman album campaign, as well as her initials on his thumb. Grande previously showed off a matching tattoo with Davidson of the term: H2GKMO, an acronym for the phrase "honest to God knock me out."
John Mesa, the tattoo artist who recently covered up Davidson's ink for his ex-girlfriend, Cazzie David, told The New York Post's Page Six that he warned the comedian about getting tattoos inspired by relationships. "After we were done, I told Pete, 'Hey, dude, let's just stop with the girlfriend tats until after [Grande's] your wife.' Because relationships come and go, and Pete is a really young man," he admitted. "[But] I think that went in one ear and out the other."
Meanwhile, Davidson might be making Grande his wife sooner than expected. Last Tuesday (June 26), Page Six reported that the comedian has requested the help of Queer Eye fashion expert Tan France to prep wardrobe for the big day. "Absolutely. I will. He asked if I'd help him. The answer is yes," the 35-year-old star admitted of assisting the 24-year-old star with his wedding fashion. Back in March, France helped Davidson with his wardrobe for outings with then-girlfriend Cazzie and her family. Additionally, France recently confirmed on Watch What Happens Live that he "just went shopping with [Davidson] a couple of days ago." "I'm very, very, happy for them. I couldn't be more happy," France told host Andy Cohen. "I think if anybody finds love, that's amazing. I will always support that."
