Oprah Dishes Details About Her Royal Wedding Experience

It's been over a month since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot during their lavish royal wedding, and now, one of their guests — Oprah— is opening up about her experience at the extravagant love-filled affair.

In the newest issue of Oprah's O, The Oprah Magazine, the 64-year-old explained, "It literally took my breath away." But, breath taken away or not, she eventually did have it in her to express her emotions out loud. She recalled, "I exclaimed out loud to no one in particular: 'Whoa! This right here is a whole 'nother level!'"

Whether you were there in person, or you watched on TV, or saw all of the gorgeous romantic pictures, there is no doubt the wedding was absolutely amazing, and that Harry and Meghan are truly in love. Oprah said of the newlyweds during the ceremony, "Both of them were glowing with happiness. I can't wait to see the goodness that will come from their union. Goodness that I know for sure will help change the way the world thinks about what is possible, even more than it already has."

Oprah also shared her thoughts on Meghan being an American actress now becoming royalty, and how different her life is becoming. She explained:

"I thought immediately of the history, the legacy, the astounding moment Meghan Markle was stepping into. And what it would take to be prepared for such a moment. The life she was leaving behind and the new world to which she was rising — all part of a destiny she helped design."

Prince Harry and Meghan were married on May 19th, surrounded by family, friends, and plenty of celebrity wedding guests. On the day of the nuptials Oprah shared that the ensemble she ended up wearing was created overnight by Stella McCartney, after realizing her original outfit would photograph too white for the wedding. She explained on Instagram:

"Thank you @stellamccartney! Realized Friday morning the beige dress I was planning to wear to Royal ceremony would photograph too 'white' for a wedding. Her team did this [overnight]. Hat is vintage @philiptreacy been in my closet since 2005 with new feathers. OMG was this an extraordinary day! #Harry&Meghan #RoyalWedding #Lovedeveryminute."
