Dua Lipa is Being Trolled by Fans for Breaking Her Own ' New Rules'

Dua Lipa posted two photos on Instagram on Friday, July 6 with the simple caption "Last night." While the first picture is innocuous enough - showing Dua rocking one of her many *amazing* outfits at an event for Cartier - the second has some of her fans riled up. The slightly burry image shows Dua kissing somebody, though it's hard to say for sure who it is. The cute snap only features the backs of their heads. Dua's fans suspect the man she's locking lips with is none other than Isaac Carew, a.k.a the infamous ex who inspired Dua's breakout hit "New Rules." 

Fans were quick to troll Dua, calling her out for breaking her own rules. The lyrics for "New Rules," which has become an anthem of sorts for people struggling to stay away from an ex - state "One, don't pick up the phone, You know he's only calling 'cause he's drunk and alone...And if you're under him, You ain't getting over him." It seems Dua isn't following her own rules anymore and fans were quick to point that out in the comments. 

While Dua hasn't commented on the call outs this time, she has responded to fans trolling her for getting back in touch with her ex before. When rumors first started swirling that Dua and Isaac were talking again, one fan tweeted at the pop star "sis u broke your own rules." Dua savagely replied "sis get a grip."

Even though Dua inspired the world with "New Rules," encouraging people to say 'no thanks' to their terrible exes, it's not our place to comment on whether or not she's breaking her own rules. The couple have been apart for over a year and a lot can happen in that time. We just have to trust that Dua is making the right decision for her, even if that means she's picking up the phone.
