Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds is doing well after a battle with an auto-immune disease, and it's all thanks to some serious lifestyle changes.

Dan showcased his progress, and buff body transformation, with a shirtless mirror picture posted to Instagram. In the caption, he explained to fans that he's made some changes in his diet, exercise and lifestyle in order to help him combat the auto-immune disease he's been suffering from, Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). He wrote:

"Just a few months of reworking my entire lifestyle/diet/exercise w @thor345622 and I have zero inflammation now. These before and after pictures say it all. Sorry for the corny exercise post but truly changed my life and healed years of pain. Unbelievably grateful for health."

Reynolds continued to open up with his struggle with the painful condition on Twitter, along with several other shirtless pictures of him performing live in concert.  He wrote, "I’ve spent a decade fighting an auto immune disease that inflamed my joints (AS). I now live pain free, am in full remission & am the healthiest I’ve ever been. I owe it to Brad Feinberg Correct diet, vitamins & exercise. I’ll share it all w u soon. It’s been life changing for me."

Ankylosing Spondylitis is a form of inflammatory arthritis that mainly affects large joins, as well as the spine, and can even lead to a hunched over posture. According to the National Institutes of Health's MedlinePlus, AS is more common and more severe in men, and symptoms typically appear in early adulthood.

After Dan shared his optimistic health update, his pal P!NK responded on Twitter, "Congrats @DanReynolds happy for you friend. Glad you’re feeling good." Reynolds responded, "Thank you :) miss you - give your family all my love xox."
