Meghan Markle Sounds Like She Now Has A British Accent

They say when you live with someone for long enough, you start to sound like them. Well even though Meghan Markle hasn't yet been married to Prince Harry for two months, she's already beginning to speak like him. It seems that all that time living in England is rubbing off on the LA-born actress - she's picking up a British accent.
When Meghan went with Queen Elizabeth to attend a bridge opening in a town in Cheshire, England last month, a woman named Aya El Zeiny got to chat with her. Excited that the Duchess of Sussex said her name, Aya posted the video on Twitter, but more people were surprised by how Meghan spoke in the video. She clearly has developed an accent.

It turns out, the accent has been a long time coming. In a video from January, you can start to hear some hints of it starting to form:

As for the reaction to Meghan truly becoming a British duchess, it seems somewhat mixed:

Dear people snickering at Megan Markle's new British accent -- it's actually very natural to pick up mannerisms, speech patterns and accents when you are so fully immersed in another culture. If she spends time with her American friends she'd slip back into an American accent.
