Deana Carter Gets Married

A hot July moon saw the marriage of Deana Carter and new husband Jim McPhail. The “Strawberry Wine” singer wed McPhail on July 6, saying “I do” during a private ceremony at The Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach, Florida.
The pair were introduced last year by mutual friends. “This is a special time for both of us,” the couple tells People. “We are extremely blessed to have met during this season of our lives and blending our families into one happy one.”
Deana wore a high-neck halter gown with a plunging lace-illusion neckline and pearl tiara. The nuptials were officiated by Deana’s new sister-in-law, while her brother Jeff Carter gave her away. The pair plans to split their time between each of their homes in Los Angeles and Santa Rosa, Florida.
