A 67-year-old tourist visiting New Jersey was the victim of a freak accident while she was sunbathing on the beach. High winds picked up an aluminum beach umbrella and sent it flying toward Margaret Reynolds. The sheer force of the wind was so strong that it propelled the umbrella with enough power to completely puncture her right ankle

According to Fox News, responding officers had to use bolt cutters to remove the umbrella from her leg before rushing her to a nearby hospital. Authorities did not release any information on her condition.

A fellow beachgoer, who was sitting just five feet from Reynolds, shared photos of police tending to her on Instagram.
