City To Purchase AT&T Building

By a unanimous vote, the Beaumont city council has agreed to purchase the old AT&T building

on Main Street for $1 million. Plans are to demolish the building and clear the property for

development. We will get more information around 8:20 this morning when Beaumont Mayor
