Iskra Lawrence took to Instagram last week to reveal that she was the secret assassin featured in ZAYN's new music video for 'Sour Diesel.' The model shared how much she loved the experience, as well as giving Zayn a special shout out. "Thank you [Zayn] for asking me to kick a$$ with you. You’re even more lovely, humble and talented in person," she wrote.

Iskra quickly followed her announcement that she had starred in the video up with another post that revealed she had been body-shamed for working with Zayn. "What I wasn’t expecting was the DMs not only I received but my bestie received also, saying that I was too fat, desperate and disgusting to know Z or be involved," Iskra wrote in her caption.

Took this in my trailer between filming my fight scenes for #sourdiesel what I wasn’t expecting was the DMs not only I received but my bestie received also, saying that I was too fat, desperate and disgusting to know Z or be involved - can we please stop this already. I’ve learnt how to let body shaming not affect how I feel about myself, but can we please start being kind and supportive to one another. (I understand I’m only speaking to a small handful of people as nearly all of you who follow me are very loving kind and supportive) but let’s stop putting limitations on ourselves and others start celebrating not shaming and embracing not bullying. I know the comments may have come from a place of jealously, anger or sadness but if you’re hurting trying to hurt someone else will not help you heal. So be kind to others and yourself ❤️ Ps @zayn choose me because he knew I could kick a$$ regardless of my size - we should be excited to see more size diversity in all areas of the media, including music videos ❤️

Iskra asked those who felt the need to body-shame her to "please stop this already," as well as stating the she's learned "how to let body shaming not affect how I feel about myself, but can we please start being kind and supportive to one another."

The 27-year-old English model encouraged her followers to "stop putting limitations on ourselves and others," as well as to  "start celebrating not shaming and embracing not bullying." She used the opportunity to address the reasons why many people feel the need to be to be cruel to others on social media. "I know the comments may have come from a place of jealously, anger or sadness but if you’re hurting trying to hurt someone else will not help you heal. So be kind to others and yourself."

Iskra is known for her body positivity and advocacy for breaking down unrealistic beauty standards. It's awful that she had to go through this experience, however, she managed to turn a bad situation into something so positive and inspiring. Hopefully those who felt the need to body-shame Iskra will take her thoughtful words to heart and think twice before bullying somebody online in the future.

She concluded her post by stating "[Zayn] chose me because he knew I could kick a$$ regardless of my size - we should be excited to see more size diversity in all areas of the media, including music videos." So true!
