Fire Forces Sarasota Hotel Guests Out Of Their Rooms

Sarasota, Fla.-(970 WFLA)-A fire in an exterior hallway forced  guests at a Sarasota Ramada Inn to evacuate their rooms just before nine Monday night.

Manatee EMS treated two people for minor injuries, in the parking lot of the hotel in the  7000 block of North Tamiami Trail.  

Crews from Cedar Hammock Rescue, Southern Manatee County Rescue and the City of  Bradenton Fire Department, kept the fire from spreading and had the flames completely out in about fifteen minutes. 

The damage cost estimated to be about 60,000 dollars. what started the fire is still being investigated.
