11-Year-Old Becomes the Youngest Female Rapper to Sign With Empire Imagine being 11-years-old and already signed to a major record label.  

Alaya High aka Lay Lay did just that. She announced on her Instagram account that she signed a contract with Empire Records, making her the youngest female rapper to ever do so! 

Her freestyle over BlocBoy JB's "Shoot" is what propelled the budding young star into the public eye. 

The viral Twitter clip gained her plenty of fans on Instagram as well who now watch her "Freestyle Friday" videos she drops almost weekly.
