Portland Now Has A Cookie Dough Cafe

You couldn't go on Facebook last year without hearing about Cookie Dō. An ice cream shop style cafe that serves up edible cookie dough rather than ice cream. The only downside is that the locations were all in New York City. 

Now one of these cookie dough scoop shops has landed at home. The Cookie Dough Cafe has opened a location in Portland, Oregon and I cannot BELIEVE I was not there on opening day. The cafe works like any ice cream scoop shop, you pick your flavor, pick some topping if you'd like, plus what vessel you want to get your cookie dough in. They have cones, bowls, and even cookie dough sandwiches. 

You can find The Cookie Dough Cafe in the Pearl District on NW 13th. Right by Deschutes Brewery. 

The cookie dough is eggless, which makes it safe to eat without baking. They offer vegan and gluten free flavors.
