Chrissy Teigen Live-Tweets Deadly Earthquake From Bali Vacation

Chrissy Teigen: model and... journalist? The Lip Sync Battle co-host's reportage of Indonesia's deadly natural disaster may make her the most underrated celebrity anchorwoman yet.

While away on vacation in Bali with her husband John Legend and their two children, Miles and Luna, this Sunday (August 5), the 32-year-old found her getaway interrupted when she and her family felt trembling from a nearby earthquake on the tourist island of Lombok about 50 miles away. "Bali. Trembling. So long," Teigen tweeted of the magnitude 6.9 earthquake that reportedly killed at least 142 people and injured 200 others.

"Oh man. We are on stilts. It felt like a ride. 15 solid seconds of 'hooooooly s**t this is happening,'" she continued in another tweet. "im either still trembling or these little quakes won't stop IM TRYING TO BE NORMAL HERE."

In quite the strange (and TMI-esque) turn of events, Teigen later revealed she was unclothed during the tremor. "I very calmly walked outside clutching baby saying 'I'm naked.  I'm naked. I'm naked.' like a naked zombie," she said. "im either still trembling or these little quakes won't stop IM TRYING TO BE NORMAL HERE."

In all seriousness, of course, Teigen assured her fans she and her family were safe and elucidated that they should not be the center of media attention by bringing attention to those impacted by the tragedy.
