Singer-songwriter-smile-that’ll-make-you-weak-in-the-knees Shawn Mendes is no longer a teenager, guys — dude has officially hit his 20s. And in honor of his recent 20th birthday (8/8/2018 — super lucky in China, where eight is a lucky number), we thought we’d pay tribute to one of our absolute faves by looking back at 20 things he’s accomplished before he turned 20. From unbelievable professional success (millions of Vine followers, selling out Madison Square Garden, all three of his albums go No. 1) to personal growth (going from looking up to John Mayer to collaborating with him, donating $100K to Mexico after a horrific earthquake, seeking therapy for anxiety), Shawn Mendes has done it all — and he still has so much left to achieve!
