Leona Lewis Is Engaged To Dennis Jauch After Eight Years Of Dating!

Leona Lewis' heart is bleeding no more! 

The "Bleeding Love" singer is engaged to her boyfriend of eight years Dennis Jauch, People reports.  While the couple has yet to address their engagement, Leona teased the exciting news by showing off her huge engagement ring on her Instagram Story on Monday (August 6).

Leona and Denis are currently vacationing in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where the X Factor winner recently finished shooting for the second season of The Oath.

Their engagement news comes just one week after the couple celebrated their eight-year anniversary on August 1.  Dennis commemorated the occasion by sending a beautiful message to Leona on Instagram. "It's been the most beautiful 8 years of my life with this incredible human being," he captioned a large Instagram collage of their cutest moments. "Here's to many more beautiful memories 🖤."

The two met when Dennis, who’s now a choreographer, worked as a backup dancer on Leona's 2010 tour.

While the couple seems to prefer to keep their relationship out of the public eye, the 33-year-old singer opened up about how she and Dennis made their long-distance relationship work, in a 2015 interview.

"Before, I thought I wanted to be young and single, then once I was I realized it wasn't all it was cracked up to be," she told The Telegraph. "We're together, but because we both travel so much we have to make a huge effort to see one another. If we are within an hour of each other one of us will jump on a plane to see the other. I think the most unexpected meeting place was in Romania."

Leona also told the Metro in 2013 that while she and Dennis had yet to talk about marriage, she knew she was not ready for the commitment at the time. 

"I was always like, ‘I am going to get married in my 20s!’ But now I’m like ‘No, no, no. I’m not ready!’ I feel like you think you are going to be ready but then you get to your late 20s and you’re not ready," she said.
