Two People Shot in Possible Murder-Suicide in Westlake Area

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A man and a woman were shot to death today in the Westlake area in what police described as a possible murder-suicide. 

The shooting was reported about 12:15 p.m. in the 1700 block of James M. Wood Boulevard, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. The man and woman were in their 60s and died at the scene, police said. 

Information was not immediately available on their identities, but Officer Tony Im of the LAPD's Media Relations Section said the case was being investigated as a possible murder-suicide.
