Panic At The Disco Delivers Pitch-Perfect Performance During 2018 VMAs

Panic! at the Disco put on a lively production at the 2018 Video Music Awards.

The American rock act lit up MTV's annual award ceremony at New York City's Radio City Music Hall on Monday night (August 20) with a theatrical showcase of their song "High Hopes."

Lead vocalist Brendon Urie — who dazzled in a floral black-and-gold suit — led the crowd in a vivacious singalong as he grooved and belted out crisp high notes while a live horn orchestra blared on in the background.

As usual, Urie's vocals were nothing short of on point tonight — so much that a certain Shawn Mendes couldn't help but bob his head along during the performance. Don't believe us?

The track features on Panic! at the Disco's sixth studio album, Pray for the Wicked, which dropped back in June.

Tonight the band is in the running for Best Rock Video for the visual of the album's lead single "Say Amen (Saturday Night)," competing against fellow rockers Fall Out Boy, Foo Fighters, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Linkin Park and Imagine Dragons.
