Say it ain't so! DeSoto Central Market which is located in Downtown Phoenix has closed and according to management... plans are underway for a new concept.
From ABC 15,
"As of Monday, August 20th 2018 the DeSoto Central Market concept will no longer be in operation... We sincerely appreciate all of our employees over the years, who worked incredibly hard to make DeSoto what it was. We are also very thankful to the community and our customers for your support," Shawn Connelly, managing partner said in a recent statement.
What are your thoughts? Did you hang out at Desoto Central Market? Are you sad to see it closed?
Below some accounts are sad to see the market close.
This one hurts. Sad to see @DeSotoMKT close. The ambitious adaptive reuse project helped galvanize the #dtphx community. Thank you for three great years. https://t.co/eHYEyQn3jq

I loved Desoto Central Market. In fact, a little over a year ago @agnel88_philip and I had our first date there! Sad to see it go. https://t.co/acCtH40ADu
