Will Brody Jenner Join 'The Hills' Reboot?

It's been an exciting few days for fans of MTV's iconic mid aughts reality show The Hills. It was announced during the Video Music Awards (VMAs) that the show would be coming back to MTV with a shiny new title The Hills: New Beginnings. While Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari have opted out from returning to their reality show roots, other original cast members like Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Whitney Port, and Audrina Patridge have confirmed they'll be back for more ~drama~ on The Hills: New Beginnings. One cast member who hasn't confirmed whether he'll be signing on for the reboot, though, is Brody Jenner

According to E! News, Brody Jenner might be returning to The Hills. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it appears the former teen heartthrob is in negotiations with MTV to appear on the show. A source told E! News, "MTV wants Brody. Without Lauren Conrad especially, the show needs Brody. He was the male lead of the show." It looks like Brody is totally playing it cool, though, because the source claims that Brody is only "potentially interested." As a member of reality tv's royal family - yes, he's the son of Caitlin Jenner and half brother of Kendall and Kylie Jenner - Brody is probably pretty savvy at cutting a good deal for his appearances. If Brody appears on The Hills, he will most likely make a pretty penny for it.

The Hills: New Beginnings is set to premiere sometime in 2019 and viewers will be treated to an inside look at the cast members "personal and professional lives while living in Los Angeles." Brody hasn't made an appearance on Keeping Up With The Kardashians in a while and his ongoing drama with Caitlin Jenner has been playing out in the press. Caitlin, as well as Kendall and Kylie, famously skipped Brody's recent wedding to Kaitlynn Carter Jenner in Bali. Brody claims Kendall and Kylie didn't even RSVP with their regrets. It would be interesting to see Brody's side of the story play out on his own reality show.

Fans will just have to wait and see if Brody signs on to The Hills: New Beginnings. In the meantime, let's all go back and rewatch the original series. Feel the rain on your skin...
