Kelly Clarkson has absolutely no time for hate and she let a fan on Twitter know just that after she was sent a homophobic message, which criticized the pop star for congratulating a same-sex marriage.
On Sunday (August 19), the American Idol alum sent her well wishes to two women, who she actually helped with their proposal during a 2016 concert, but was hit with a homophobic reply just a day later. "Sorry Kelly.... love your music but I don't dig the d**es...still a sin any way you cut it," @Wildvine74104 replied to her message, but the 36-year-old star wasn't having any of that negativity. "I almost didn't respond 2 this because hate doesn’t deserve a spotlight but u know what, truth does, & the truth is that God is Love, & Love shared between two people should be praised not condemned in my personal opinion," she responded. "I love u 2 although we see the world/love differently."

In other Clarkson news, the pop singer/songwriter took to Hollywood on Wednesday to celebrate Simon Cowell's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. "I said yes right away because I was so excited to be here for this, because literally we were right here 16-years ago when this man helped change my life," the singer told the star-studded crowd, which also included the likes of Katharine McPhee, David Foster, Leona Lewis, Adam Lambert and Louis Tomlinson.
"He appreciates authenticity. Even if it's something he's not into, he appreciates you being yourself and that's very rare in this industry. I think people always want you to fit into something, some kind of category so they can sell it. And I think the thing he is so talented at is finding authentic people, that have a raw talent and are really themselves and that's all that they really know how to be."
