Johnjay & Rich Pay Tribute To Arizona Senator John McCain

Arizona Sen. John McCain passed away Saturday afternoon at the age of 81 and hundreds of thousands of fans as well as supporters took to social media to send their condolences and well-wishes for the family of the late Senator. 

So did Johnjay & Rich who both have a long standing friendship with the Senator since his connection with Arizona runs deep. The Senator stopped by the show a while back to say hello and give a few liners. (See the hilarious video below)

The connection for Johnjay is close since his mother also passed from the type of brain cancer that afflicted McCain. Johnjay said in a recent Twitter post: 

"This hits really close to home for me and my family because #TheSenator is actually suffering from the same kind of brain cancer that took my mother from us (well before her time.)... I've personally known #SenMcCain for almost 20 year and throughout that entire time he has always been an incredibly supportive of the Johnjay & Rich show, and for that I am truly grateful"
