It's time to swing from some trees because it's National Tarzan Day.  Tarzan is a fictional character created by American author Edgar Rice Burroughs.  As the story goes, Tarzan was raised in the African jungle by apes after the death of his parents.  He ends up falling in love with a woman named Jane after she and her explorer father get trapped on the island where Tarzan lives.  Tarzan first came about in Burroughs' book, Tarzan of the Apes, in 1914 to which he added an eventual 25 sequels.  Tarzan is also portrayed in the Disney movie, Tarzan, which was released in 1999.
