Nick Jonas' Mom Jokes About 'Lack Of Dance' Skills At His Engagement Party

Nick Jonas' and Priyanka Chopra's mothers stole the show at their engagement party earlier this month.  

During the couple's pre-marriage celebration, which took place on August 18, the "Close" singer's mom, Denise, and the Quantico actress' mom, Madhu, hit the dance floor for a beautiful moment shared between the future mothers-in-law. “Thank you @madhumalati for being patient with my lack of dance skills! I miss you. #engagementparty,” Denise captioned an Instagram video on Tuesday (August 28) of Madhu teaching her an Indian dance move. 

The Jonas family's matriarch shared the footage days after her return to the States, following her son's engagement celebration in Mumbai. 

As previously reported, Nick and Priyanka confirmed their engagement during their trip to India, after they brought their families to meet in the actress' home country.

“Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love,” the "Jealous" singer captioned a romantic Instagram photo of him and his bride-to-be as they gazed into each other's eyes and Priyanka placed her hand, which housed her massive engagement ring, on his chest. 

The Quantico actress also captioned the same pic on her Instagram, “Taken.. With all my heart and soul." She later wrote on an additional post that featured shots of her and Nick's families celebrating their engagement: "The only way to do this... with Family and God. Thank you all for your wishes and blessings." One photo, in particular, featured Madhu, Priyanka's brother Siddharth, and Nick's parents, Denise and Kevin Sr. in a group photo taken during Nick and Priyanka's traditional Roka ceremony (an engagement ceremony that takes place before an Indian wedding). 

Priyanka's mom recently gave her stamp of approval to her daughter's future husband, telling DNA India, “Nick is calm and mature. He’s a wonderful person and everyone in the family just loves him." She added, “He’s so polite and respectful towards elders. What more can a mother want!”
