James Corden Invites BTS To Appear On 'Carpool Karaoke'

Much like the rest of America, James Corden wants in on the BTS action, as per a recent invitation from The Late Late Show host on Wednesday evening (August 29), where he asked the K-Pop phenomenon to perform on his talk show once again.

"I want [BTS] to come on my show and perform 'Serendipity' so bad," the 40-year-old personality tweeted. "Maybe we could even sing it in a #CarpoolKaraoke?" Even though "Serendipity" is only performed by Jimin, Corden's sentiments are clear. He wants the South Korean septet for some Late Late Show entertainment. Back in November 2017, the band performed their hit single, "DNA," and also partook in a hilarious game called "Flinch."

If his initial message wasn't enough to prove his BTS fandom, his follow-up message sure resonated with the BTS Army. On the set of the upcoming 2019 film, Super Intelligence, Corden shared his soundtrack tune for the day, which just so happened to be "Tear" off the band's new repackaged album, Love Yourself: Tear. Considering that the band is set to rock the Staples Center in Los Angeles next week, Corden's tweets may just be a hint of an already booked appearance.

Just last week, it was reported that the band broke Taylor Swift's record for the most views for a music video within 24 hours. As per the stats, their music video for "Idol" snagged 56.2 million plays, surpassing the pop titan's record of 43.2 million views made by her "Look What You Made Me Do" video, which premiered during the VMAs last August.
