Summer 2018 is still serving up some serious drama. During an appearance on Nicki Minaj's Queen Radio, a man who reportedly can't pay his own bills took credit for his ex-girlfriend's business success. Yup, that's right: Tyga thinks he's the reason Kylie Jenner is on track to being the youngest billionaire in history.

“You’ve got to look at the before and after. She always had a platform and she was always destined to be what she was going to be regardless, but when I stepped in, there was a lot of codes being taught. It was like, ‘You could do this, you should start this, you should start doing your hair like this,’” The 28-year-old rapper said on Thursday (Aug. 30.) “You should adapt because you need black people to f—k with you. You need culture. If you aint got black people behind you, you aint got nothing—aint nobody going to listen. You can't influence nobody.' So, I had a lot to do with all that."

Tyga then went on to say that he's also behind Kylie's blockbuster beauty empire Kylie Cosmetics. “I don’t need to go online and tell people I did this and I’m the one helping her coming up with these colors and names on her … lip line. It was a lot of stuff.”

Fans of both Kylie and Tyga took to Twitter to go off about his comments. While many flat out disagree with Tyga's claims, others think he shouldn't be boasting about that if he did. Naturally, many hilarious gifs were involved.

Despite this, Tyga says he's over his ex. "I'm not a bitter person. That's like, if we break up, we break up," he said. "We had a good time and we kept moving. You know, we went our separate ways, and we both are doing good, you know what I'm saying?" As for Kylie's relationship with Travis Scott? Tyga says he's cool with that, too, and that there's "no beef" between the two rappers. The same can't be said for Nicki and Travis, of course.

What do you think about Tyga's comments? Was Kris Jenner listening? Only time will tell.
