Belly's fans may have been expecting Midnight Zone to be the rapper's second full-length LP, but after this year's Made In America Festival, he revealed that his next project is actually called Immigrant.

Following his set at the two-day festival in Philadelphia, Belly tweeted out the album's title, cover art, and release date, which is October 12th. He tweeted, "With everything going on, I can’t sit by and say nothing. I decided to speak my truths. my album is now called || IMMIGRANT || out on October 12 || xotwod || RN."

Belly subtly dropped a hint, tweeting the word "Immigrant" just a week before Made In America.

The title also dates back to July, when Belly (who was born in the Middle East) released limited edition "IMMIGRANT" t-shirts and is donating 100% of the profits to the ACLU, lobbying and advocacy, and the IRC (International Rescue Committee), which helps children and refugee families across the globe. In a statement he explained why Immigration is a topic that is close to his heart, saying, "As an immigrant myself," the rapper declared, "I feel as though IMMIGRATION is a topic that NEEDS my support & yours as well with so much happening. It’s our job as public figures and more importantly as HUMANS to bring attention to these causes. With your help we can create a platform and bring awareness to help immigrants thrive and know they can succeed too."

While further details, like the track listing, on Immigrant have yet to be shared, this year, Belly released several singles, including "4 Days" featuring YG, "Maintain" featuring Nav, and "What You Want" featuring The Weeknd

Belly is set to perform during this year's Daytime Stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on September 22nd, alongside a lineup of talented artists including Logic, Lil Uzi Vert, Leon Bridges, and more.
