Gloria Govan Released On $100K Bail After Child Endangerment Arrest: Report

Gloria Govan is longer behind bars after her recent spat with ex-husband Matt Barnes.

On Friday (August 31), the Basketball Wives star supposedly got into an altercation with the retired NBA athlete while picking up his 9-year-old twin boys from school for the weekend, per their custody negotiation. TMZ broke the story Saturday (September 1).

According to reports, Govan showed up approximately five minutes before school let out to pick up her children. However, when the basketball player arrived and noticed his boys were in their mother's car, he instructed them to exit Govan's vehicle and get into his.

It was this moment that set off a vicious dispute between the ex-lovers, causing the reality star to yell and scream explicatives. Evidently, Govan became so livid that she chased after Barnes in her vehicle, even blocking the 38-year-old baller's car at one point in her pursuit, which prompted witnesses to alert police.

When law enforcement officers arrived at the scene, Barnes presented court documents validating his custody arrangement with his ex-wife. Consequentially, Govan was placed in handcuffs for putting her children in harm's way. 

Per an update from the outlet, Govan has since been released from jail after posting $100,000 bail.

The former pair has had bad blood with one another ever since their nasty divorce in December 2016.
