Zendaya Celebrates 22nd Birthday In London, Shares Cute Throwback Pic

Zendaya celebrated her birthday in the wisest way, as 22-year-olds do.

On Saturday (September 1), the actress took to social media to honor turning the big 2-2 this month with an adorable nod to her childhood.

"Keeping this energy as I enter my 22nd year of life," the former Disney Channel star writes in her clever caption alongside a throwback black-and-white pic from her childhood. With a beaming smile and wearing bedazzled, heart-shaped sunnies, even in her toddler days, the star proved to be far cooler than her time — and us, for that matter.

At such an early age, Zendaya has already accomplished more than most in her bracket. In the past year alone, she's landed roles in major blockbusters like The Greatest Showman and Spider-Man: Homecoming.

According to reports per UK's Daily Mail, the performer continued her stylish B-day festivities in London, where she was pictured walking the streets of London in a custom Alessandra Rich minidress before visiting Annabel's private members' club in Mayfair later on that evening.

Guessing by her recent Twitter posts, her fans have been showing her nothing but birthday love on her special day. 

"I'm bout to take my a** to bed, but I really don't know how to put into words how grateful I am for the love everyone has shown me today," she tweeted, "thank you for another beautiful and special birthday. (Technically it's still my birthday in Cali, so turn up)."

Most recently, it's been reported the "Replay" vocalist is being considered for the role of Ariel in Disney's upcoming live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.

In other words, you better work, Z!
