Ashlee Simpson is no boyfriend stealer, okay?

The pop star authenticated age-old rumors that her 2005 song "Boyfriend" was, in fact, about not stealing and Wilmer Valderrama from her gal pal Lindsay Lohan.

She made the confession during her appearance with husband Evan Ross on Tuesday's (September 4) episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, where Simpson addressed the gossip surrounding the tune in a game of "Plead the Fifth."

In one round, host Andy Cohen asked whether the record was her way of debunking claims she took the That '70s Show actor from Lohan, to which the 33-year-old answered, "Yeah, I mean, I hung out with him first and I wasn’t interested him at that point." In case you forgot, Lohan held a relationship with Valderrama shortly after appearing on an episode of the Fox show back in 2004.

However, in clearing the air on the current status of her friendship with the Mean Girls actress, Simpon said, "And we're great! All love."

In other words, case closed.

In another moment, the Ashlee and Evan personality ranked her surprise to her sister Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey's divorce "a five" on a scale from one to 10.

And at Cohen's request to place Pink, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Mandy Moore in order of talent, she started with Xtina and Pink but had a difficult time placing Moore and Spears. "That's a tie, for different reasons. Mandy's a great actress, right? And Britney's a great performer!"
