Ty Dolla $ign Arrested For Cocaine & Marijuana Possession In Atlanta

Ty Dolla $ign was busted for cocaine and weed possession in Atlanta, Georgia on Wednesday (September 5). 

According to TMZ, the "Pineapple" rapper was riding in a large passenger van when he was pulled over, right outside of the city, in front of a cafe. Witnesses told the site that officers pulled everyone out of the vehicle, began their search and eventually found drugs. 

In a video of the bust, police dogs are shown barking at the large van as officers searched inside. Ty, who is currently dating former Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui, is later shown being escorted to a cop car in handcuffs.

A spokesperson for the Atlanta Police Department told TMZ, officers discovered both cocaine and marijuana inside the vehicle. At this time, "it appears Ty will be charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of cocaine." While Ty was traveling with 6 other people, they were reportedly released without charges.

According to The Blast, The “Paranoid” rapper was booked into Fulton County Jail and held on $1,000 bond.

Ty was slated to perform at Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood with G-Eazy, Lil Uzi Vert, and YBN Nahmir for the "Endless Summer Tour" on Wednesday. The "Love U Better" rapper was allegedly heading to the venue at the time of his arrest.
