Carrie Underwood Wants To Bring Hope With New Single 'Love Wins'

Carrie Underwood has just released a new single titled "Love Wins," and her desire for the song is that it brings hope to people The track will be included on her new album Cry Pretty, which will be released on September 14th..

We sat down with Carrie to talk about the writing process of the song. "When we were writing love wins, we wanted to be mindful of all the things that were happening in the world. Not pinning anything down to one specific subject or anything."

She went on to say, "We wanted to give hope. We wanted to let people listen to it and think, hey I want to be nicer to people today. I want to befriend someone that thinks differently than I do. We just wanted to provide a message of hope. I feel like we did that, and I do think that Love Wins."
