Sofia Richie Attempts To Dodge Scott Disick Questions In Awkward Interview

This is cringeworthy. During a business trip to Australia, 20-year-old model Sofia Richie stopped by The Morning Show to promote her appearance at a Windsor Smith store in Sydney. The hosts only briefly mentioned her gig, instead preferring to ask her about her über famous family and friends. After politely answering questions about her dad, Lionel Richie, and older sister, Nicole Richie, the conversation turned to Sofia's boyfriend, Scott Disick. 

After mention her collaboration with Windsor Scott for approximately .5 seconds, the hosts attempt to segway into a conversation about Sofia's personal life by asking if it's true that Scott introduced her to the brand. Sofia tries to drive the conversation back towards her relationship with Windsor Scott when one of the hosts says "life with Scott seems pretty good." Sofia gives a short, but polite answer: "We're very happy."

Things get even more awkward when the hosts straight up ask Sofia why she doesn't like answering questions about her personal life, especially about her family and relationships. "I can't deny the fact that that's my life," Sofia responds diplomatically. "By the way, that's been my life forever. That's nothing new to me. I'm not upset that I have to answer these questions, but there are moments that I have where I'm like 'I want to be my own person. I want to stand as my own person,' even though I have all these people in my life that I love so much."

Scott and Sofia's relationship has, of course, been at the center of much chatter since they started dating last fall. Between their significant age gap -15 years- and the fact that Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner used to be BFFs with Sofia, there was certainly a lot going on. It looks like their relationship will be a point of major contention between Scott and the mother of his children, Kourtney Kardashian, on this Sunday's episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Scott and Kourtney have a tense conversation after Sofia meets their kids without Kourtney's permission. 

"It's called giving someone a heads up and having a respectful conversation, giving someone the respect," Kourtney argues. "I make sacrifices all the time and you're not following through with the things that you say you're gonna do. Then you just go and do whatever you want and I'm not okay with it."

It's pretty impressive they go through this whole conversation without saying Sofia's name once! Time to make the popcorn.
