Ryan Lochte & Kayla Rae Reid Are Married—For The Second Time!

Ryan Lochte and Kayla Rae Reid's perfect wedding became a reality.

The Olympian and former Playboy model tied the knot in front of more than 100 of their loved ones during a secret, outdoor wedding ceremony at Morrow Ranch in Palm Springs, California, PEOPLE confirmed Sunday (September 9).

“No matter what has happened, Kayla’s been there to pick me up,” the 34-year-old professional swimmer told the publication. “She’s just been there 100 percent and I owe everything to her.”

Though the bride and groom — who share a 15-month-old son named Caiden Zane — technically committed in a civil union back in January, the newlyweds waited to walk down the aisle so their son could be a part of the celebration.

“We wanted Caiden to be old enough to walk down the aisle," Reid explained. "One of our visions was to have him be able to be the ring bearer, so it’s perfect timing!”

The 27-year-old's bridal look featured soft and natural makeup with Tacori diamond earrings and her grandmother's tennis bracelet. Reid's gown was designed by Galia Lahav. Lochte, his son, and groomsmen all wore custom-made tuxedos from Giorgio Verdi.

Per PEOPLE, the Lochtes married in a passionate, candle-lit setting, abound with cappuccino roses, sunset roses, white roses, crystals. Both Italian and Mexican cuisines were served at the reception, where the newlyweds sliced three different cakes by Cake Studio LA.

Lochte and Reid have been together since July 2015. The couple got engaged the following year in October and welcomed their first child on June 8, 2017.
