Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson's falling out two years ago left the future of Heart in question.

Ann recently fielded some questions about the future of her Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band during interviews surrounding the release of her solo album, Immortal, which is available now.

The legendary singer revealed in a new interview with Q104.3 New York's Jim Kerr and Shelli Sonstein that she and her sister have made plans to soon reconvene and discuss whether they want to work together again.

"Just about everyone I've talked to today has asked me to comment on this rumor that there's a Heart reunion next year," Ann said. "I haven't heard about that yet, but Nancy and I will be getting together soon to talk."

She continued: "I will never agree to going back out there in a mechanical, money grab-type way. At this point in my life, I'm not going to do that. I'm going to make every minute count and make it real. So we'll talk and we'll figure out if we can figure out a fresh cool way."

What remains unclear is whether the upcoming meeting will be Ann and Nancy's first sit-down since Ann's husband pleaded guilty to assaulting Nancy's sons backstage at a Heart concert in 2016.

"Heart was conceived in an atmosphere of idealism," added Ann. "That's how it has to be re-conceived now for me to be interested in doing it. So it's possible."

Last year, Nancy expressed hope for the future of Heart. But she added that the band's next step would be a "challenge."

While Ann has been busy touring with her solo band, Nancy started Roadcase Royale with members of Heart and former members of Prince's band.
