Kentucky Woman Arrested For Leaving Kids In Car With Loaded Guns

A Kentucky woman was arrested for leaving her two children in her car while she went tanning on a day when the temperature climbed over 90 degrees. Police responded to a call from a concerned person and found a five-year-old and a five-month-old child sitting in the vehicle. There was a loaded gun within the reach of the older child. They also found a second loaded gun inside of the car.

Authorities learned that their mother, 25-year-old Monica Gentry, had been at a Sun Tan City in Louisville for nearly 30 minutes. 

Gentry was taken into custody and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
